The lusheng
The Miao in Guiyang celebrate their new year around the begining of March every year. Miao is a term given to about 9 million tribal peoples who live in SW China. The girl is wearing traditional dress, silver adornments being very important, she is playing a lusheng, a musical instrument made of bamboo at the Kaili Lusheng Festival.
