A Kalash woman at the Spring Festival. The Kalash live in three valleys in the far northwest of Pakistan next to the Afghan border. Their relaxed dress a sign that they are animist not Muslin. The Kalash believe they are descendents of Alexander the Great's army, their southeast European looks give credence to the theory.
