Golden Rock
Golden Rock pagoda is known as Kyaiktiyo in Burmese. The pagoda is balanced on a golden boulder, this itself balanced on a hair of Buddha. A place of pilgrimage for Burmese Buddhists, however, only males are allowed to get close to the boulder, where many append golf leaf.
