Same Same but Different

Mastuj is located about 50 km from the Afghan border in the far northwest of Pakistan. Most of the inhabitants are Ismaili Muslims, less strict in many ways than other Muslim sects. This lady came out of her house and was happy to be photographed, unthinkable across much of the northwest of Pakistan. Genetically there is evidence that the European looks are a result of the visit of Alexander the Great's army 2300 years ago.
