The Kalash live in three valleys in the far northwest of Pakistan that lie next to the Afghan border. The Spring Festival, known as the Joshi Festival, takes place in May. The venue for the dancing is known as the 'High Place'. This gentleman is one of the elders, known as a Khazi, the keeper of the legends of the Kalash.
